It is hardly a surprise that the 72nd Emmy Awards looked a bit different this year. Instead of dazzling red carpet looks most of the winners attended the ceremony from the comfort of their homes. Host Jimmy Kimmel presented from the Staples Centre in LA with only a few other guest- presenters joining him in the studio.
The lack of red carpet appearances actually boosted creativity and some of the stars superbly nailed their looks, while there were some that could’ve used a little bit salt to spice up their glam attendance.
We took 3 of the looks of the virtual Emmy Awards and twisted them with our own clothes in La Koketa App:))) It was soooo much fun!!!🎈🎉🎈
Wanna join? Look closely at the styles and in fact, you may notice that some of the outfits actually look better – not attempting to be a fashion critic here:
1. Reese Witherspoon’s Loui Vuitton little black dress
Fluffy slippers – approved then COVID mask – needs a little bit of pattern – therefore the zebra one and lastly little black dress – well, the event is Hollywood’s most red-carpeted, but like the majority of events this year, it was, in fact, virtual – so we do strongly suggest a more flowy option of a black dress, one that can actually allow you to bent a knee and watch the ongoing ceremony sitting comfy on your sofa.
2. Jameela Jamil in PJs
We, all kinda expected that the stars will wear their PJs for the virtual ceremony, that’s why actually seeing them gave some substandard feeling😏. If you want to keep the PJs, here is our proposal:

Make the color count, then add a cozy blanket – rainbow sequins are not for that show and finally, statement earrings will do the job well enough.
3. Julia Garner in Chanel
Hate to say it, but this look lacks color, like a loooot! Even if the idea has been to be washed out… It is super pearly elegant though…

Get rid of the beige top – go for bolder and more vibrant colours;
Keep the necklace but add extra-long matching earrings and step it up with neon heels.
Keep it up, girls!
