Staying longer hours at home through this interesting time make me solidify the idea that we are really are a consumer society! Not that I ever doubt! And that is undeniable!
Living in a consumer society each one of us should ask ourselves over the environmental impact of our economic activities over nature. Because they have become bigger and more visible!
But don’t expect me to preach here. For me, I’ve made my choices and for the industry we all are in – fashion – here is what I can say:
Stream all your energy into developing versatility and longer life and use for the items you own, enjoy wearing them for the time you have them and after that pass them on to sb that will enjoy them too. Fill the empty space with new things that entirely match the other items of your closet and keep statement pieces that never go out of style!

So, without a further ado and no seriousness anymore here are the 5 pieces you should always keep in your closet:
1. The White Tee/ Top
Be it a button-down shirt, a vest or a plain t-shirt – you name it. And you should try to have at least one of these by any means. And I may be not 100% exact here, ‘cos white top does wear quite quickly, especially if you style it a lot. So, if you need to replace it, my choice would be white tee; crisp white tailored button-down shirt or a simple white vest and that pretty much will cover all a chic lifestyle needs.

2. The “perfect fit” jeans
Blue, skinny or whatever. They can flatter your figure when styled accordingly and with respect to your personal statue. And though they come in numerous styles and fits – skinny, boyfriend, mom, culottes, paper bag, balloon, to name a few, you should never ever part with one of these

3. White sneakers
For me this is the ultimate shoe! Celebrities even rock’em down on the red carpet! But they are hard to maintain in that crisp, neat white color. No trill though, you can always ditch them up and buy a new piece if necessary. But they are a must in your closet!

4. Blazer/ biker jacket
Although they may be not always on top of style, actually they never go out of style entirely. Blazers may vary in size, fit, print, no matter what if you put on a blazer it can transform an outfit into a timeless classic. As for the biker jackets – especially the leather one pieces – no doubt at all, that each and every girl, if she wishes to be called “trendy and fashionable” – should own at least one! Oh, and black, of course 😊

5. Statement shoes
Black, red, nude or print – what can I say here – splurge – as much as you can for such a piece! And then you can rest, knowing that you are safe. Extra fine shoes can really be a timeless piece in your wardrobe. After all, “There is nothing that a pair of shoes can’t fix 😊” ! Ask Cinderella!
