Issue 4
Now, no more talking, here is our Lady in Red and her fight for human rights and taste for fashion in Q&A’s. Read on…
Bio
LK: Please introduce yourself.
KD: Kamelia R(ed) Dimitrova
LK: What is your field of expertise or where do you find your passion?
KD: Passionate about human rights, committed to fighting human trafficking. In my 16+ years of work experience in NGOs, international organizations, and public administration, I find the most fulfilling part of the job has been to lift people, both the teams I have managed and the people we have helped.
LK: What do you love and keeps you going?
KD: Good company, good wine, good weather, and a tailwind for travel! But most of all, I love watching my pre-teen daughter grow and glow.
LK: What’s your biggest fear?
KD: Nothing, but fear itself.
Fun
LK: The first app you open when you wake up… before or after coffee? ☕
KD: Facebook.
LK: Your happy place is…
KD: Any place that makes you feel that there is something yet to be discovered.
LK: Your comfort food is…
KD: Chocolate
LK: What do you like to mix for a good mood?
KD: Gin tonic.
LK: When or what changed your perception of the world?
KD: When my daughter was born.
Fashion & Style
LK: Can you describe your style?
KD: Combining spunky, bold, and feminine.
LK: Share with us the one fashion item that defines you?
KD: Large, bold accessories/jewelry without the jewels 🙂
LK: What are you wearing right now?
KD: Tight ripped jeans, loose blouse with a red necklace.
LK: Tell us more about the outfit that made your day and why you remember it?
KD: I think outfits can convey your mood. So when I wear my socialite attitude, I put on expressive clothes and accessories that often strike a conversation. When I’m tired or distanced, I prefer to wear something that says that “I need my own space”.
LK: What’s in your shopping cart or on your wish list right now? (and no cares if it’s empty, we all strive for that 😍)
KD: Zora Romanska’s new Black wave collection.
LK: The celebrity you’d like to have dinner with would be?
KD: Juliette Binoche. I’d love to meet Freddie Mercury at the “after-life” party. 🙂
LK: The style icon that inspires you most is?
KD: I can’t say that I have one favorite style icon… Definitely find inspiration in extravagance and pushing the boundaries (think Grace Jones) and also in women’s ability to transform and lead in fashion and life in general (think Madonna).
