Bio
LK: Please introduce yourself.
LP: Lydia Petkova
LK: What is your field of expertise or where do you find your passion?
LP: I am a natural Life Coach, blogger, and writer whose profession is Marketing Specialist. Creator of the inspirational program “To Love Yourself”. Intuitive motivator and speaker. My passion is Life itself 😁. Blogger at Lydia’s Life Lessons
LK: I love…
LP: Observing, educating, analyzing, and discussing people’s relationships. Being alone with my thoughts and experience myself. I love writing, meditation, yoga, coffee with friends, walking downtown of the city, nature, the mountain, jogging, biking, sports, healthy living, music… I guess a lot of things ☺
LK: I fear…
LP: Birds 🐦. No idea why 🤔Maybe some bad experience from my past life. Sometimes I fear the same what I just said that I love – being alone. Being single. Being alone with my emotional wounds is scary. I don’t have many fears because I am an Aries and we do not know fear ♈
Fun
LK: The first app you open when you wake up… before or after coffee? ☕
LP: I am sure it wouldn’t be a surprise – it’s Facebook (I am 43 and more Facebook than an Instagram person 😄. I open it before, during, and after the morning coffee. And sometimes all day (as I said I am a marketing person).
LK: Your happy place is…
LP: Oh, so many… I can be happy almost everywhere. I love being in the center of the city having coffee with friends and at the same time I enjoy being quiet in nature. But if I have to mention only one… it’s the cute little house on the beach of Maui with a nice bench and nice view where I would write my next book…
LK: Your comfort food is…
LP: Fruits and vegetables. I have been vegetarian and vegan for 10 years, now I am not anymore, but I feel more comfortable with these foods.
LK: What do you like to mix for a good mood?
LP: Mai Tai … and … fresh fruits! I am not so much into alcohol drinking.
LK: When or what changed your perception of the world?
LP: Definitely when I divorced. My whole world turned upside down. Everything that I knew before was destroyed. I died and I had to start rebuilding myself from the beginning. I had to question so many things and people and relationships in my life that I was totally lost for a few years. But now, when I remember this time I can say that this is the most important time in my whole life. Finding myself!
Fashion & Style
LK: Can you describe your style?
LP: Wow… I am not sure I can answer this… Free and casual when I am having coffee with friends downtown, black and sexy when I am having cocktails in the Rooftop bar, jeans when I am having fun with my kids. 🤩
LK: Share with us the one fashion item that defines you?
LP: Isn’t the same with all women?! Shoes, shoes, shoes…
LK: What are you wearing right now?
LP: I just had an interview for my program “To Love Yourself” and I am wearing black skinny high waist jeans and simple but elegant, one of my favorite white shirts – “Guess” by Marciano.
LK: Tell us more about the outfit that made your day and why you remember it?
LP: Oh! That yellow skirt! It was an unusual and unexpected gift from a new friend – a girl. We’d just met and it was like two soulmates meet. We met, we liked each other, we clicked suddenly, we shared a lot, we spoke, spoke, spoke for hours… She emotionally gave me this yellow skirt of hers. I loved it, and in a few days, she just disappeared from my life … for no reason… Anyway, the yellow skirt will always remind me of her and of that unexpected bond of 2 souls…
LK: What’s in your shopping cart or on your wish list right now? (and no cares if it’s empty, we all strive for that 😍)
LP: It’s not empty because it’s just a wishlist 😊. One thing is to wish for, totally different to buy it 😏 Anyways: blue jeans – skinny high waist Zara; white or light blue boyfriend jeans – high waist Zara or H&M; a denim jacket; high heeled boots by Guess; overall long denim dress by Guess. 😁
LK: The celebrity you’d like to have dinner with would be?
LP: Gerard Butler 🙈
LK: The style icon that inspires you most is?
LP: I am not a fan. Never been in my life. But if I have to point someone – Jennifer Aniston maybe… or Megan Markle for more official style…
