Thanksgiving Outfits in 3 Styles with My Own Clothes
Thanksgiving is around the corner and the importance of gratitude is lingering somewhere on the back of my mind. To be honest, I’ve been a reluctant practitioner of the attitude of gratitude despite the undisputed mental and emotional health benefits. I’ve got so much to be grateful for and yet I fail to cultivate a conscious habit of counting my blessings.
Of course, Thanksgiving gives me the rare once in a year chance to consider all the reasons I love my life.💖 So, this holiday season I’m determined to activate the power of gratitude and welcome the opportunity to catch up with my loved ones, share stories, and just have fun. After all, this is what unlocks the fullness of life.
Generally, I look at the world as a half-full glass and I always use any occasion to express my joy and appreciation through my style. I’ve come to realize that the choice of the right outfit has superpowers in its capacity to make me feel positive and confident. It kind of helps me channel my gratitude and amplify my happiness (strange as it may sound).
That’s what makes planning my Thanksgiving outfits so essential. Naturally, I used my digital closet La Koketa to create three looks with my own clothes so I can decide which one to wear at the very last minute. I considered the different settings and companies I might end up with, which might sway my outfit pick all the way from classy to casual.
Thanksgiving is a special time, so I’m looking for a look that screams “The holidays are here!”. 🥳 My strategy was to use the Home Feed with outfit suggestions on La Koketa app, which is basically endless.
Classy Look
I selected classy & casual styles and pink & black colors in the filter and started scrolling the infinite cool ‘fits with my own clothes (the perks of having digitized my closet, you know). Obviously, I loved lots of gorgeous looks based on my prefs. Yet, I was looking for something festive and timeless that would work equally well for friends’ gatherings as well as for fancier endeavors.
That’s when I spotted the plaid set combining a mini skirt with a plain black top for an effortless yet put-together ensemble. The chunky ankle boots dressed down the look, while the chain bag elevated the whole style so I decided to save it to My Outfits for Thanksgiving day. 💕

Casual Fit
There’s nothing like the comfort of your favorite stretchy leather pants that give an elevated look to any outfit. Besides, black and white combos are really classy and versatile and can take you from the dinner table to the couch in a blink.
That was the reason I loved this chic ensemble when scrolling my feed and decided to add it to my Thanksgiving looks. La Koketa paired it with a classy black and white knit and chunky knee-high boots, which will make me feel comfy and look like a million bucks at the same time. 😊

Glam Style
Knit dresses are having a moment and I decided to jump on the bandwagon because they are trendy and stylish, yet comfortable and effortless. When I started scheming Thanksgiving fits, I filtered my dresses and then selected the hashtag #knit. That’s how I found this beautiful chunky sweater dress that La Koketa paired with OTK boots that will surely dominate fall for years to come. The newsboy cap adds an effortless flair to the whole ensemble.

This outfit building routine is simple if you have uploaded your clothes on your digital closet where you can see them on the palm of your hand. Start from there and you’ll be amazed by the endless combos possible with a limited closet!
No matter if you are lounging, dining and wining or sipping over your Thanksgiving cocktails, I hope this gives you an inspiration to prepare ahead of time and wear the clothes you already have in your closet when counting your blessings!
I urge you to be grateful not only this Thanksgiving, but cultivate your attitude of gratitude into a regular practice!
Try to express your positivity with the clothes you wear and remember that your unique style is a true source of happiness. 🙏
