How to shop smartly in Milano 📲
Outlet shopping in Milano can be quite an adventure when you put together essential ingredients like the best designer stores and a fun company of girlfriends in one. The exhilaration sparked by this intense dopamine activity is truly unmatchable and contagious. The high spirits and the festive mood could easily derail your focus from the main purpose of the experience, namely getting only what makes sense in the context of your closet.
I can fondly describe our shopping spree this weekend as quite intensive, yet super exciting and rather purposeful for the most part. Well, we needed some prosecco breaks to uplift the spirit and to better fit into the classy Italian lifestyle, you know. 😁🥂
Make a plan
Since we only had one day dedicated to outlet shopping, we’d done our homework in advance by creating very specific wish-lists and pinpointing the targeted stores in Serravalle. We also had a strategy to look for investment pieces that are timeless and versatile and can be basically worn forever (or until you get bored that is). 😊
We had in mind the limited availability of certain models and sizes, which would require some compromises, so we were armed with the perfect tool to help us shop smartly. Also, I spotted the saturated long leather jackets, which are absolute super stars and would make your styling underneath totally redundant. 😊
Step3️⃣ Shop smartly
Now, let the shopping begin! At this point, I was well-prepared and focused on the targeted stores and wish-list items. Also, I was looking for more than one way to wear the new piece because I don’t need clothes hanging in my closet underutilized and taking space.
The drill is very simple and straightforward every time you find something worthy of your investment: 👉
For instance, I spotted this beautiful double-sided coat by Maje. The fur on one side and the smooth white leather on the other basically combined two of the trends in one (minus the color, but I wanted something classy).
The Drill
