Iāve always been amazed and slightly irritated by the whole obsession with St. Valentineās Day. I can surely say itās a bit overrated. Yes, LOVE should be celebrated, but it must be a 356-day affair rather than one day when you turn up the romance full force. š
Iāve personally never waited for the St. Valentineās to celebrate LOVE. I believe you need to express and cherish your relationship with your loved ones every single day. After all, thatās what makes life extraordinary and exhilarating! šš
I think itās the little moments we show our affection that count, and they need to be consciously acknowledged and treasured. Not being a big fan of V-Day, however, doesnāt necessarily mean I donāt greatly enjoy holiday dressing. Quite the contrary! I think festive V-Day looks enhance the romantic spirit and make you and your special ones feel even more loved.
Thatās why weāve rounded a couple of V-Day looks that stay true to the romantic spirit, but donāt fall into cliches and can be worn all year round. Of course, we emphasized pops of pink and red here and there without overdoing it with too many hearts. You can still incorporate them in your outfit if you are in the mood for it though.

Tanya chose to wear this look, which La Koketa paired with a pink cheetah sweater and chain ankle boots because itās the day of love and a funky pink print is required after all.
Creating the perfect date night look might be tricky. The key is to honor the V-Day with subtle touches like pops of red and gold to emphasize the romantic mood. Luckily, La Koketa suggested this passionate snake-print dress in red and topped off the look with edgy accessories in black and gold.

If you think wearing hearts on V-Day is lame, think again! I just love this white and pink fit created by La Koketa! š It is definitely for the cool girls out there.
